2nd Koliabhomora bridge to be completed by Nov: CM Sarbananda Sonowal

The construction work of the ongoing second bridge at Koliabhomora will be completed by November of the current year. This was revealed by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today while visiting the Koliabhomora Bridge and taking stock of the ongoing construction work.
Expressing his satisfaction over the progress of construction work, the Chief Minister also said that a survey has been conducted for a number of major bridges in the State. Briefing media persons, he said that he has already directed the authority concerned to repair the dilapidated conditions of the roads in the State including the National Highways. “I have already given strict orders to the department concerned to expedite the repair works of many dykes in the State to ensure the safety of the people from the fury of flood and erosion,” he said.
Replying to a query of newsmen regarding the BJP’s performance in the ongoing general election, he said that BJP will show a better performance in this election and Narendra Modi will be the nation’s Prime Minister. He said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee will get a befitting reply this time.

Earlier, he was given a presentation on the progress of the construction work of the bridge at the office of the GAMMON India Ltd.
