BJP leader from Arunachal Pradesh, Kiren Rijiju, on Thursday took oath as a union minister. Rijiju has been included in PM Modi’s ministry for the second time.
Previously, the Arunachal BJP leader had served as the Minister of State for Home Affairs. Rijiju is known for his oratory skills in the national politics. He is considered as the face of BJP in NE India.
Born on 19 November 1971, Rijiju was an active social worker since his school days and led various social movements as a social worker and student leader.
The BJP MP defeated Congress’ Nabam Tuki in West Arunachal Lok Sabha constituency in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
