An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of CRPF Nirod Sarma, who hailed from Nalbari district of Assam, was killed in a terror attack in Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on Wednesday.
Among others who lost their lives in the attack, two were from Uttar Pradesh and one each from Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.
The other deceased are ASI Ramesh Kumar of Jhajjar in Haryana, CT Satendra Kumar of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, CT Mahesh Kr Kushwaha of Gazipur in Uttar Pradesh and CT Sandeep Yadav of Dewas Madhya Pradesh.
