A Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) cadre has been apprehended from Serfanguri area of Kokrajhar in a successful counter insurgency operation of Panbari based unit of Red Horns Division and Assam Police.
The joint team recovered one 9mm pistol with bullets and one Smartphone in possession of the cadre. The cadre who has been apprehended by the joint team was identified as Bikash Roy, son of Sakalu Roy.
Roy is a resident of Guru Bazaar, Ramfalbil in Kokrajhar district and he has been handed over to Serfanguri Police station for further investigation.
