India batted first with captain Virat Kohli’s 72 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s 56 helping the side reach a score of 268 at a loss of 7 wickets. The Windies’ batting order crumbled under a sustained attack by India’s bowlers, with Mohammed Shami leading the way. The latter snatched 4 wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets each. The Windies were bowled out for just 143 in 34.2 overs.
