In a shocking incident, two girls who were travelling by Public Transport(AUTO) in Pandu area jumped off from the moving vehicle after a fellow passenger allegedly tried to inject them with a syringe.
The girls, who are students of Pandu College, sustained injuries as thwy jumped from the moving auto were rushed to Sanjeevani Hospital.
According to reports, the accused man was sitting between the two girls and tried to inject them with alleged drugs when one of the girls felt a pricking feeling following which they both jumped from the auto.
An FIR was lodged at the Jalukbari police station following the incident and the police is conducting investigation into the matter.
