The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) directed all its federating units and subordinate bodies to hoist the “Naga national flag” in their respective okings (headquarters) to mark the 73rd “Naga Independence Day” on August 14.
The Federation, in a directive issued by its president Ninoto Awomi and general secretary Liremo R Kikon on Sunday said this official order is in furtherance of the resolution adopted during its second official meeting held on July 13.
It said the meeting resolved to celebrate/commemorate the 73rd Naga Independence Day on August 14 at the Naga Solidarity Park in Kohima from 11 am onwards. It was also decided to issue a directive to all the federating units and subordinate bodies to hoist the “Naga national flag” in their respective offices on the day.
The Federation asked its units and subordinate bodies to make arrangements for pasting/hoisting the “Naga national flag” in all strategic locations in their districts or block headquarters on August 14.
It further asked the units to send the compliance report, accompanied by pictorial proof, to its office on or before August 25.
