Good news for the Assam Government employees and its pensioners as Sarbananda Sonowal-led government has hiked
the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) by 5 percent on Tuesday.
“Assam government hiked Dearness Allowance for its employees and Dearness Relief for its pensioners by 5 percent,”
said a government source on Tuesday evening,
According to reports, the hiked DA for the employees and hiked DR for the pensioners will be effective from July 1, 2019,
With this hike, the State government employees and pensioners will be entitled to 17 percent DA and DR in all.
