In a joint operation carried out by security forces in Tinsukia, an armed cadre of the ULFA (I) was arrested.
The ULFA (I) cadre has been identified as Sabda Asom alias Jonki Bora from Maj Moromi area under Digboi police station. The security force personnel recovered 2 electric detonators, 2 IED circuits, 3 batteries of 9.6 volt, one battery operated remote control, 12 kg of TNT, one torchlight and a bag from the possession of the militant.
