Chirang: In continuation of the operation against organized drugs trafficking, an operation was launched by Chirang District Police which was led by SDPO Bijni along with Bijni PS staff on wednesday from 05.30 PM onwards in Bijni Toll Gate/NH 27 area. During the operation, one drugs peddler was apprehended.
“During search in presence of independent witnesses, 15 (fifteen) plastic containers containing suspected psychotropic substance has been recovered from his possession”,stated Chirang Police.
