Guwahati: Cachar police apprehended one, Anarul Hoque Barbhuiya(22) with 23 packets of Yaba Tablets.
Each packet contained 200 tablets worth around Rs.4600/- in total.
On tuesday evening, Jirighat Police Station OC, Soumarjyoti Ray got inputs regarding a drug peddlers movement, accordingly he laid down a police checkpoint at Assam-Manipur interstate border and Ray along with his team apprehended the pedler.
A case has been registered in Jirighat PS, case no 2/2020 u/s 22(c) under NDPS Act.
Police informed that interrogation is going on.
