GUWAHATI: A 52-year-old man from Karimganj tested positive for Coronavirus.
The patient is detected in Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
According to Newslive reports, the man went to Karimganj a few days back from Hatigaon, Guwahati.
Meanwhille, health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed the news and wrote in a tweet,”A 52-year-old person has been found positive for #Coronavirua and is Assam’s first #Covid19 patient. He is undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College. His condition is stable.”
