GUWAHATI: As the number of COVID-19 cases are increasing in state, Assam government has converted the hospital of Nagaon Paper Mill at Jagiroad under Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited (HPCL) into a fully functional unit for COVID-19. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the COVID-19 facility on Sunday.
Minister Sarma stated that it will be converted into a 50-bedded hospital after the COVID-19 situation is over.
