GUWAHATI: In a facebook post shared by Dibrugarh police, they mentioned that a total of Rs.25,000 have been collected in a single day from the people violating lockdown rules by not wearing face masks.
The Dibrugarh Police facebook post read, “Facial recognition in your phone may not work with the mask on. Leave that thought to the likes of Tim.Cook Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar-Pichai and that’s no reason not to wear a mask.
PS: 25000 collected in fines for not wearing masks. It seems #MaskUpIndia is getting more successful everyday.”
