NEW DELHI: Sixteen-year old TikTok star Siya Kakkar’s death has left her fans and family in shock. Delhi Police is now probing the reason behind her death. The TikTok star committed suicide on June 25 at her residence in New Delhi.
The news of Siya Kakkar’s death was first shared by Bollywood photographer Viral Bhayani on his social media.
Delhi Police has seized her phone for investigation.
The exact reason for Siya Kakkar’s death is still unknown. However, according to reports, the family of the 16-year-old TikTok star has asked for a detailed police investigation on Siya Kakkar’s death. Siya Kakkar, who has about a lakh followers on social media posted her last TikTok video a day before her death, reports Republic TV.
The young TikToker, who has a huge fan following on social media platforms, reportedly hung herself at her residence in Delhi’s Geeta Colony area on Wednesday night around 9 pm.
Siya Kakkar’s family is deeply shocked by the untoward tragic incident and refused to speak to anyone at this moment.
