Soil and water from Meghalaya’s Jaiñtia Hills will be part of the historic building of Ram Temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.
Members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), in the presence of the Dolloi of Elaka Jowai, Puramon Kynjing took a fistful of soil and some water from Syntu Ksiar, Myntdu river for the foundation of the proposed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on July 26.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the Ram Temple at Ayodhya on August 5.
