With the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir construction at Ayodhya nearing, members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have taken the sacred soil of Maa Kamakhya Devalaya on 27th July to be used in the foundation of the temple.
Kavindra Sarma, Doloi of Maa Kamakhya Devalaya Management Committee, speaking to G Plus confirmed the same. “The members of VHP came yesterday to collect soil from the premises of the temple yesterday,” he said.
