GUWAHATI: Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday inaugurated special pediatrics unit–Bagri Children Covid Care Centre at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati.
The COVID-19 care centre has a capacity of 55 beds specially for childrens.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted,“I compliment medical team for having prepared this 55-bed unit diligently.”
Minister of state for health and family welfare Pijush Hazarika was also present in the inauguration ceremony.
