Guwahati: Admission to the 1st Semester BSc Honours programmes (except Biotechnology) in Cotton University for 2020-21, shall begin on 08 September 2020, Tuesday. As advised by the Govt of Assam the total number of seats has been increased by 25%, and the advantage to students from AHSEC board is given in the form of marks standardization. All admissions shall be provisional.
On Tuesday, students having standardized marks 276 and above will be allowed to take part in the admission process. The time slots during the day against different standardised marks of candidates for counselling and admission have already been notified on the Cotton University website.
If a candidate ends up choosing an Honours subject without meeting the specific minimum requirement for that subject published earlier vide notification CU/Acad/UGAdmissions/2020/180/503c dated 23/7/2020 then her/his admission will be cancelled.
Therefore candidates are advised to refer to the notification available on the university website before proceeding for online admission.
