State Bank CSP employee stabbed, cash looted by miscreants

GUWAHATI: A female employee of a Customer Service Point (CSP) of State Bank of India (SBI) has been stabbed by two unidentified miscreants in the Katahbari area of Guwahati at around 2.30 PM on Saturday. The miscreants attacked manager Rupali Sinha with sharp weapons while other employees were out for lunch.

“My elder brother (owner) went home for lunch. When he returned, he found Rupali in a pool of blood. She was immediately rushed to Excelcare Hospital,” said younger brother of the CSP owner.

According to him, the miscreants also looted the cash collected at the Customer Service Point.

On the other hand, a CCTV footage showed two young men reaching the CSP in a red Marooti 800 car. The men have been suspected as the assailants of the manager.

Police has started the investigation for further details.
