NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has cleared the air about the date of the CTET 2020 exam which was scheduled to be conducted on July 5. In response to a tweet on the micro blogging site, CBSE has stated that the new date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination will be announced after reviewing the prevailing situation that has been caused due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
All the candidates who are eagerly waiting for the CTET 2020 exam are advised to keep a close check on the official website of CTET—ctet.nic.in.
Earlier, the 14th edition of CTET July 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on July 5, however, postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year, in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, major board and recruitment examinations across India have been rescheduled.
Many CBSE CTET 2020 aspirants took to Twitter last week and raised concerns regarding the CTET fresh examination dates. “The next date of examination will be intimated when the situation is more conducive for the conduct of examinations. You may visit the CTET website i.e. ctet.nic.in for related updates,” CBSE response came as a reply to a question tweeted by a candidate.
