GUWAHATI: Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday. Biswajit and Emmanuel joind the party at Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s official residence in Guwahati . Daimary has left Rajya Sabha membership and the BPF to join the saffron party.
Along with Biswajit Daimary, Tamulpur MLA and BPF leader Emmanuel Mosahary also joined the BJP in the presence of CM Sarbananda Sonowal, Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass and BJP national general secretary Dilip Saikia.
