GUWAHATI: Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) chief JP Nadda and Union Minister Smriti Irani will visit Assam on Tuesday and take part in several rallies on the last day of campaigning for the second phase of the assembly election in Assam.
JP Nadda will address rallies at Nalbari, Bilasipara and Rani under the West Guwahati constituency.
On the other hand, Smriti Irani will attend rallies at Borbhag(Borkhetry), Gauripur and Dhubri.

It is to be mentioned that Phase 1 of the election in 47 constituencies was held on March 27 and 79.93 percent voter turnout was recorded. The second phase of the assembly election in Assam will be held in 39 constituencies comprising of 13 districts. The second phase will be held on 1 April, 2021 in assembly constituencies of (1-20, 56, 57, 59, 64-70, 79-82, 86, 87, 90-92).
