Public holiday declared on March 29 in Kamrup Metro

GUWAHATI: In pursuance of the government notification No. GAG (A) 81/2016/637 dated 28/03/2021, Monday(March 29) has been declared as a public holiday within the jurisdiction of Kamrup Metropolitan district on account of Dol Jatra/ Holi festival.

“All-State Government Office, Semi-Government Offices, Revenue Courts, Educational Institutions within the District will remain closed on 29th March, 2021.

All the guidelines/ protocols relating to COVID-19 should be strictly followed during the celebration of the Festival,” read the official notification issued by Kamrup Metro Deputy Commissioner, Biswajit Pegu.
