Assam’s Udeshna Borah won the title of “Miss India Supermodel International 2021”.
Speaking to Guwahati Times in an exclusive interview, Borah shared a lot of questions about her life, career, childhood, education, etc. currently, she is working as an actor and lives in Bombay. She completed her graduation in Banking and Insurance from KC College Mumbai. Borah did her schooling in Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya as her father was in the Indian Airforce, her family had to stay in different parts of the country. “I later did my Higher Schooling in Mumbai, Maharashtra,” Borah said.
When asked how she came into modeling, Borah said, “I am an actor by profession since 2019. I was in Hyderabad for a shoot and one of my friend asked me to give an audition for a beauty pageant organized by dreamz production. I got selected for it and won the title later on. It was a great experience and I have learned so many things about myself. I’d encourage everyone to participate in a beauty pageant at least once in their lifetime to discover the hidden qualities one holds inside. It’s enriching.”
It is not an easy profession, you have to be emotionally and mentally strong but if you really dream about a modeling career then just go for it and keep your headstrong. It is very important to surround yourself with good people and positive energies. Families love and support is the most important thing in this field.
As I have mentioned earlier, I was told by a friend about the audition and I got selected. Babla Khaturia and Sharad Chaudhary himself the owner of Dreamz production house were also present in the audition. The competition was held in Lucknow and contestants from across the country and abroad took part. Later, I was crowned in the grand finale.
Assam is very close to my heart. I have had almost all my summer holidays and winter breaks at my grandparents’ house in Nagaon and Jorhat. My childhood memories of me playing around with my cousins and my aunts and uncles are very dear and special to me.
I would like to tell the people of Assam to always be very grateful for what they are and where they come from. Dream big and come out of your comfort zone and take risks in life. My blessings and good wishes are always there for my people.
It is to be mentioned that the first runner-up position was bagged by Shreya Talwar from Bhopal while the 2nd runner-up position was won by Nisha Gulia. The “Mr, Miss & Mrs. Supermodel International 2021” was recently held in Lucknow and was hosted by Dreamz Production House, which has established itself as a household name in the fashion and modeling industry.
