Lakhimpur girl Nanikrishna Hatiboruah, a Model by profession has been selected among the top 10 finalists from Assam for Femina Miss India 2022.
Hatiboruah did her schooling from Shankardev Sishu Niketan, Dhakuakhana, her 12+ from Ramanujan junior college, and is currently pursuing BA from Cotton University in Guwahati.
Speaking to Guwahati Times about her hobby, she said that she likes listening to music, Dancing, and playing Kabaddi.
When asked about her Modelling career, Hatiboruah said, “I have started my journey from Miss Assam 2018. After that, I was a finalist in Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast 2019, 2022(top 5). It was not an easy journey from my village Sonari Chapori to Mumbai! And I think this is just the beginning cuz I’m still learning.”
“I feel very grateful, honored, and Happy. I’m grateful to my villagers, towards all the lovely people of Assam. Without their support, it wouldn’t have been possible,” she added.
“This is the 21st century, the century of Modernization and development! The truth is, if on one side many children, many people are celebrating their life with a smile, on the other side so many Children are helpless! Crying just for their survival, dreams! And I know … without dreams life is incomplete. If I get a chance to represent my state I’ll always be there with those children! They are the future! I know we are here, we can do this together. We are more powerful together,” she further added.
Modelling as a career:
As a career modelling can be a good choice. If it’s about me, modelling is my passion!
Speaking about her family’s support, Hatiboruah said, “I am lucky that my family never say ‘No’ to me, whenever I want to do something in life, They are always supportive. From my parents to my cousin, Mumu. They were always with me wherever I needed them! I’m always grateful to them.”
