ULFA-I releases names of 11 alleged spies in its camp

A day after releasing a sensational video of an alleged Assam Police spy in their camp, the banned outfit, ULFA-I (Independent) has released names of another 11 youths who they claim are spies of Assam Police in their camp.

According to satellite channel DY365s list, some of the alleged spies are namely Dhunumani Saikia of Jorhat (ULFA-I claims he is from the Army), Kalyan Chakraborty of Barpeta (ULFA-I claims he is from Assam Police), Bitupan Das of Guwahati, Tirtha Das of Mangoldoi, Manushya Kalita of Guwahati’s Panjabari, Kishore Sharma and Dhanjit Deka of Kamrup, Nitupam Deka of Goreswar, Ritupam Sharma of Kamrup’s Borgaon, Sanjay Kumar Sharma of Guwahati’s Chandmari and Bikash Rajbongshi of Dhubri.

This release comes a day after the outfit released a video of a youth who they claimed to be a secret agent of Assam Police. The alleged Assam Police agent Sanjeev Sarma hails from Muktapur in Baihata Chariali, Kamrup and has been detained at ULFA (I) camp at Myanmar.

In a press statement issued by ULFA-I on Tuesday (April 26), it said that Sanjeev Sarma, who recently joined the banned militant outfit is a spy of Assam Police. He was sent to ULFA by Army and Assam Police as an agent, the statement said. The spy had named a senior Assam Police officer as his trainer and the person behind sending him to the ULFA-I camp in Myanmar.
