Two brides married the wrong grooms after a mix-up due to a power cut in a village in Madhya Pradesh.
The brides who had ghoonghats performed the wedding rituals with the wrong grooms. Rameshlals daughters Nikita and Karishma were going to get married to Dangwara Bhola and Ganesh. But they accidentally married the wrong grooms as they were in veils and were wearing the same wedding dresses.
The incident happened in Aslana village in Badnagar tehsil, around 20 kilometres from Ujjain. The mix-up did not come to light until it was too late.
The grooms had taken the wrong brides to their homes when the mistake was noticed, India Today reported.
The families were able to reach a settlement after a brief dispute. The brides and the grooms were asked to perform the rituals with their right partners the next day.
The bizarre incident has created a buzz on social media, with netizens saying, “This can happen only in India.
