“PM Narendra Modi always thinks for the poorest of poor’: Minister Suklabaidya
Minister for Environment and Forest, Excise and Fisheries, Parimal Suklabaidya said the different welfare schemes and programmes of the Central Government have ameliorated the socio-economic condition of the people, thus providing a better quality of life.
Addressing the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kishan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other schemes at the District Library auditorium in South Assam’s Karimganj district on Tuesday on the occasion of Prime Minister’s nationwide interactions with beneficiaries from different districts across the country virtually, Minister Suklabaidya said under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tens of thousands of beneficiaries have benefited from different pro-poor welfare programmes.
Suklabaidya said no one could imagine 10-15 years ago, that people will get access to pure drinking water under Jal Jeevan Mission and gas connections under Ujjwala Yojana to their households, thanks to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He also said that under Ayushman Bharat, poorer section are availing treatment free of cost. Suklabaidya said India is proud to have a Prime Minister of Narendra Modi’s stature, who always thinks for the poorest of the poor.
Suklabaidya said unlike in the past, money is being transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. He said that under the PM Kishan Samman Nidhi, the 11th number of instalments amounting to a whopping Rs.21,000 crores will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries within 24 hours.
He said that new model Anganwadi centres have been set up aimed at physical and mental development of a child. “A child is taken care of his health and education at the model Anganwadi centres so that he or she can grow up to his full potential,” he quipped.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner, Mridul Yadav highlighted about 16 numbers of Central Government schemes and programmes being implemented by nine ministries/departments benefitting tens of thousands of people.

Bipul Das, ADC, Rintu Boro, Chairman SC Board, Krishna Das, DFO, Vasanthan B.and other dignitaries.
The nationwide Garib Kalyan Sammelan is being organised as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commemorating 75 years of independence with the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, Central and State Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other elected representatives interacting with beneficiaries of Central Government schemes.
