As part of its preparedness for the Gunotsav-2022 scheduled to be held on May 23 to May 26, 2022 in the Phase-II, the Kokrajhar district administration has started imparting training to the external evaluators engaged in the district for evaluation process on Wednesday.
They have been given training by organising a one-day district-level orientation programme at District Institute for Education and Training (DIET), Kokrajhar with an aim to help the external evaluators improve understanding of their roles. They have also been given training on evaluation process, interactive ideas, examining teachers and students attendance, sportsmanship spirit of students, School Management Committees roles, community participation, availability of infrastructures, skill assessment of students in various subjects, including identifying learning gaps due to Covid-19 impact in the last two years.
Attending the training, Kokrajhar deputy commissioner Varnali Deka welcomed all the external evaluators from different departments and appealed to them to give their best to the students during the Gunotsav programme so that the process could be completed smoothly.
The Gunotsav-2022 will cover a total of 1,13,872 students of 1,611 schools from class 1 to class 9 in Kokrajhar district. For smooth conduct of this programme, the district administration has engaged 15 master trainers, 666 external evaluators and 1,611 nodal teachers.
