In one of Assam’s flood-affected districts, Medhikuchi, a village road collapsed in. Moreover, flooding has affected more than 2.30 lakh residents in the district. Furthermore, people are also condemning the administration for providing insufficient humanitarian supplies.
Extreme flooding still plagues a number of areas of Assam. Floods have impacted over 45 lakh people in 30 districts. Over 2.8 lakh people have sought refuge at the 1,395 relief facilities after several villages were wiped away.
