Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) Executive Member(EM) Wilson Hasda on Thursday met the NDA Presidential Candidate Draupadi Murmu at Hotel Vivanta by Taj in Guwahati.
The presidential candidate being from the Santhal community was welcomed in the Hotel by various Santhal and Adivasi organizations of Assam. Members of the organizations were seen dancing and playing traditional songs.

The NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu arrived in Guwahati on 5th July. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma along with several Ministers, MLAs, and EMs received her at the airport.
Later today, she returned to Guwahati from Shillong where she went to meet different political parties of Meghalaya seeking their support for her candidature. She was accompanied by Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterway, Sarbananda Sonowal.
