Bodoland Super 50 Coaching Centre inaugurated

Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member Pramod Boro ceremonially inaugurated the Bodoland Super 50 coaching centre for IIT, NIT students, a flagship project of Bodoland Territorial Region government on Monday at District Library complex, Dimalgaon in Kokrajhar.

Boro inaugurated the coaching centre which has been extensively providing facilities for separate boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel for the students amidst presence of students, senior citizens and officals of the BTR government.

Notably, a total 39 students (male 23 & female 16) from five districts of the BTR region have enrolled their names for the coaching to acquire higher studies in the engineering fields.

The BTR government has launched Bodoland Super 50, which is a flagship and ambitious project to transform the lives of economically weaker engineering aspirants of five districts of BTR by providing them with 11 months rigorous free residential coaching and mentorship for admissions to IITs, NITs etc.

The Bodoland Super 50 mission has been emphasizing to qualify and admit 50 students (10 from each of the five districts of BTR) to IITs and NITs each year for Engineering degree courses from Bodoland region, especially for transforming the lives of underprivileged meritorious students from the marginalized sections of the society, providing a platform and wings to the dreams underprivileged engineering aspirants of the region, creating a sense of awareness among engineering aspirants, for promoting level playing field and becoming a household name for the families, students, educationists in the entire north-east region.

In his speech, BTR CEM Boro said that the coaching centre has been setting for facilitating coaching opportunities while acquiring higher studies for taking admission in several engineering professional courses like IITs, NITs etc in the region.

He said that the BTR government has been stepping to extend support and helping hand towards the students who are taking higher studies in the field of engineering courses.

He has announced that today, the Bodoland Super 50 mission has come out successful with the inauguration of the coaching centre in Kokrajhar for the students.

He said that the BTR government have so far launched Bodoland Super 50 mission, CEM’s Super 50 mission for UPSC coaching besides stepping to extend rendering services for massive welfare and development across the region.

He said that the BTR government is committed to work for the development and integration of the society in the region.

He has urged the student fraternities to dedicate their hard studies while acquiring higher studies for leading a good life. He said that professional career can lead a person to be a good life while the students takes proper way.

” It is my appeal that the students who have got admission in the super 50 coaching centre for IIT, NIT etc courses to dedicate and study hard to achieve the his destination as BTR government has been stepping to extend support and helping hand towards the students in the Bodoland region. I am earnestly hope that the scheme helps in transforming the lives of engineering aspirants from BTR. We must have produce a good numbers of engineers across the country to build a good nation. So, students must have take aims to achieve career choice to meet their higher studies”, Boro added.

” It’s a significant day for the people of Bodoland Territorial Region as the most awaited project of Bodoland Super 50 coaching centre has been launched by Chief Executive Member of BTR, Promod Boro today, which is a flagship project of BTR government to make a dream come true for human resource development in Bodoland”, said BTR executive member Dr Nilut Swargiary.

Among others, BTR executive members Gautam Das, Ghanashyam Das, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jayanta Basumatary, Jiran Basumatary, retired principals Dr Surath Narzary, Dr Binay Kumar Brahma were prominent attendees on the occasion.

Meanwhile, BTR CEM Pramod Boro also inaugurated the office of the District Librarian at District Library, Kokrajhar at Dimalgaon today.
