The results of the CEM’s Super 50 mission for UPSC coaching was declared on Monday. Following this BTC EM Wilson Hasda, BTC Secretary Amarjyoti Barman, and Education Director Jagadish Prasad Brahma addressed a press meeting at the conference hall of BTR CEM’s office.
“The results of the CEM’s Super 50 UPSC coaching was declared today and the candidate’s who participated showed impressive performance. The selection was done through a merit list as per the guidelines framed out by the academic committee of the CEM’s Super 50 UPSC coaching,” said Jagadish Prasad Brahma.
It may be mentioned that the academic committee for the smooth run of the CEM’S Super 50 UPSC coaching was headed by Amarjyoti Barman, BTC Secretary for Education, and Jagadish Prasad Brahma, Education Director as member secretary along with other 7 members.
The selection procedure has been made as per the reservation quota i.e. ST 60%, SC 5%, OBC 15%, and General 10% respectively.
In the ST category, a total of 33 candidates have been selected for the UPSC coaching and 28 candidates are on the waiting list.
In OBC general category, 11 were selected and 9 are on the waiting list. In the OBC category, eight have been selected and 9 are on the waiting list. In the SC category, three candidates have been selected for the UPSC coaching.
Hasda informed that the selected and waiting list candidates are requested to attend the counseling to be held on 10th August at BTCLA auditorium hall. The selected candidates would send to Delhi for UPSC coaching on or before 15th August.
Hasda added that the BTR government under the leadership of Pramod Boro has been working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the region since its inception. He said that the CEM’s Super 50 UPSC coaching is an initiative to create an environment of healthy competitive educational environment among the students, especially for economically weak family background students in the Bodoland region
He said that the BTR government has so far launched many missions and visions to make massive welfare and developmental aspects for the citizens.
Notably, the BTR government initiated and launched the CEM’s Super 50 for UPSC coaching on July 20 last and conducted a written test on 5th August where over 1100 candidates appeared across the BTR districts. The mission has emphasized that the selected candidates would be sent to Delhi for UPSC coaching free of cost for 11 months.
