As part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign to mark the country’s 75th Independence, a Sobha Yatra with a 75-meter-long Indian flag was carried out in Kokrajhar town today.
Organised by Science College, Kokrajhar, over a 100 students and teachers of Science College participated in the walkathon and carried the tricolor flag with slogans like ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ through the street of Kokrajhar. The Sobha Yatra started from Science College and walked through Santinagar-Civil Line-JD Road route, covering a distance of 5 kilometers.
