A meeting of Bodoland Territorial Region chief executive member Pramod Boro with officials of the Agriculture department, scientists from Kisan Vikas Kendras of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) & faculty from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat was held at the Conference Hall of BTC Secretariat, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Thursday.
The meeting discussed thoroughly the pressing issues related to Agricultural development aspects in BTR districts and prepared necessary strategies for bringing massive upliftment of the Agricultural sectors to produce more Agri products including multi crops in the region.
BTR CEM Boro while chairing the meeting, said that the BTR government has been stepping to extend necessary support and helping hand towards the uplift of the agricultural sectors to make healthy production of multiple crops with innovative changes in the region.
” It is the need of the hour that our administrative officials & our scientific community work hand-in-hand, sharing knowledge & experience, to bring radical, innovative changes in the agricultural sector of BTR & uplift the economic conditions of the farming community”, Boro added.
BTR executive member for the Agriculture department, Ghanashyam Das, and senior officials from the Agriculture department were also present at the meeting.
