Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) EM Wilson Hasda on Saturday inaugurated the Market Building at Kokrajhar town.
KMB Chairperson Pratibha Brahma along with other officials and local people were present at the inauguration ceremony. Built with a cost of 1 crore rupees, the new market building will cater to the needs of both the business community and the public.
The EM posted on Facebook, “Happy to inaugurate the Market Building at Kokrajhar under Kokrajhar Municipal Board in presence of KMB Chairperson Smt. Pratibha Brahma.
Also, took stock of the sheds in the market area.
President, Marwari Yuva Manch, Kokrajhar Shri Sumit Anchalia; General Secretary of Kokrajhar Merchant Association, Shri Sandeep Dutta; Ward commissioners and other dignitaries were present.”
Later, Hasda visited the market shed and took stock of the market.
