The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is receiving warm response from people across the nation. People of different age groups are coming forward to welcome the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Citizens are enthusiastically welcoming and participating in the activities organized as part of the initiative.They have found their own unique ways of expressing their support for the Yatra.

For instance, in Gopinathpur village, nestled in Odisha’s Keonjhar district, women gave a traditional welcome to the Yatra IEC van and showered it with flowers.

Sanjay Jadhav’s child heart surgery was done under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Jadhav, a resident of Ambejawalge village in Dharashiv Taluka, feels thankful for receiving the benefit of the scheme, because of which his child’s life was saved.

Gendavati Maurya of Sultanpur was suffering from kidney stones and required around Rs. 2 lakhfor her treatment procedure.However, constrained by financial limitations, she couldn’t afford the procedure. Fortunately, through the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, she received the necessary treatment entirely free of cost and is healthy now. She conveyed her gratitude to the Prime Minister.

The ­Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15, 2023, at Khunti, Jharkhand on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas.

 The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is not merely an outreach initiative; it is a significant step towards ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach every citizen, thereby achieving 100% saturation and fostering active citizen participation in the country’s development. By January 25, 2024, the Yatra aims to cover all districts across the country.
