PALASBARI,March 10:Magic Bus India Foundation (Kamrup), an non-government organisation celebrated international Womens Day at Pantan High School in Chhaygaon in a day long manner.
The programme began with a colourful rally where students, parents, teachers as well as other community members participated.
A street play was also held where students of community learning Center demonstrated about the importance of education as well as struggle of a girl in realising her dream of completing school education.
Attending as a guest speaker Jayanta Kumar Rabha, renowned advocate of Gauhati High Court, informed before the gatherings about the significance of the day as well as historical genesis about the day.
He also briefed about the various legal gids well as govt schemes which empowers the women in life.
Hiranya Bairagi, Cluster Manager Magic Bus India Foundation also outlined the note played by the NGO in promoting awareness on varioun social issues as well as their vision in a realising the same.
Cultural programmes were also has part of the celebrations.

academic educator Sumi Kalita, Bhanupriya Kalita, Nibha Rabha ,SMDC president, panchayat members ,parents, school teachers, students and others.
