Guwahati: In a tragic turn of events, Guwahati Police have arrested a young tennis player for allegedly killing her mother. The accused has been identified as the daughter of Manju Devi and Deep Chand Prasad, residents of Chachal, Guwahati.
The incident reportedly occurred following a heated argument between the mother and daughter. The verbal altercation escalated, leading the accused to allegedly strike her mother multiple times with a trophy. Unfortunately, the injuries proved fatal.
Dispur Police swiftly arrested the accused, and an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
