Guwahati: The city of Guwahati has introduced a modern upgrade to its bus stands with newly designed illuminated name plates. These name plates display not only the name of the current bus stop but also indicate the previous and upcoming stops, enhancing convenience for passengers.
A photo taken at the Six Mile bus stand showcases the new installation, which has been praised for its clean and visually appealing design. A passenger waiting at the stand remarked, “This appears to be a recent initiative by the Assam Transport Department, and it certainly adds a more professional and organized look.”
These illuminated name plates are expected to be rolled out at all bus stands across the city in the near future.
