Lumding: Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway, visited the site of the train accident in Dima Hasao district where 8 coaches of the Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express derailed at Diblong station on Thursday.
He assessed the situation and reviewed the ongoing restoration efforts, stating to ANI that the work is expected to be completed by Saturday morning. Train services on the Lumding-Badarpur Hill section, disrupted by the derailment of train no. 12520 (Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express) on October 17, were restored by Friday.
