GUWAHATI: Atreyee Gogoi, hailing from Dibrugarh, Assam, has made her state and country proud by winning the title of ‘Mrs. Earth International 2024 Fire‘ at a grand event held in Manila, Philippines.
Currently based in New Delhi, Atreyee works as a Health Club Manager at The Claridges and holds a B.Des degree in Fashion Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong. She completed her schooling at Little Flower School.

A fitness enthusiast, Atreyee finds joy in working out during her free time, a hobby she highlighted during an interview with Guwahati Times.
When asked about her journey into pageantry, Atreyee said:
“I have been into pageants only since pageants have always allowed me to voice out my opinion and spread my advocacy towards health, wellness, and earth sustainability.”

On representing India and winning the prestigious title, she shared:
“It feels really great to represent my country, and specially it feels really great putting on my traditional attire on an international platform. I wanted to let people know how sustainable our mekhela chador is and its traditional methods of production being so nature-friendly. I come from a place where nature is worshipped and protected, and I wanted to spread that message worldwide.”

- Future Plans: “I would aspire to join civil service examinations. I always wanted to represent my country worldwide. I am preparing for Indian Foreign Services.”
- Favourite Food: “All fresh fruits.”
- Favourite Bollywood Actor: “Hrithik Roshan.”

To women, she says:
“In any circumstances, you need to step out and work for yourself. Today, if you set an example by doing good, the rest will follow to become better versions of themselves.”
For the people of Assam, she shared:
“It’s the daughter of Assam who has set her foot to make the state even prouder at every step.”
When asked about her inspirations, Atreyee spoke about her parents’ resilience:
“I take my inspiration from my mother and father’s remarkable journey. My father, being a blood cancer survivor twice, and my mother, a civil engineer who balanced work and family life, have been my pillars. I was a diabetic and overweight kid. When I moved to Delhi, I understood the value of a healthy life and began a fitness regime. Now, as a Health Club Manager at The Claridges, I want to spread awareness about health and wellness.”
