GUWAHATI: A waiter at a hotel in Assam’s Lakhimpur district has tested positive for COVID-19. The waiter identified as 17-year old Bikash Ali had come in with a returnee who was under quarantine at the hotel and later tested positive for COVID-19. Several returnees were under quarantine at the hotel.
GUWAHATI: Two special trains ferrying stranded individuals from Kerala have reached the Guwahati railway station a short while back. Meanwhile, stranded individuals in Kerala hailing from Assam will reach Guwahati in another train which is scheduled to arrive by this evening. Hundreds of returnees have arrived in both these trains.
