Celebrating Excellence: AINE Hosts 22nd Lamp Lighting and 18th Graduation Ceremony
GUWAHATI: The Asian Institute of Nursing Education (AINE), GNRC Campus, North Guwahati, proudly celebrated its 22nd Lamp Lighting and 18th Graduation Ceremony at the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Auditorium, IIT Guwahati.
The event was graced by Shri Diganta Borah, Commissioner & Secretary, Home and Political Departments, Govt. of Assam, as Chief Guest, and Prof. (Dr.) Asha Kuthari Chaudhuri, Gauhati University, as Guest of Honour. Dr. Madhurjya Borah, Trustee, INS Trust, and other dignitaries from various hospitals and colleges also attended.
The ceremony began with a tribute to Late Zubeen Garg and a welcome dance, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Prof. (Dr.) Ranju Rani Das, Principal, presented the college report highlighting AINE’s achievements and commitment to excellence.
The Lamp Lighting and Oath-Taking Ceremony for 1st semester B.Sc. Nursing students was held with reverence. The college magazine was released, and 108 graduates from M.Sc., P.B.B.Sc., and B.Sc. programmes received their certificates.
Ms. Kangkana Kalita received the Academic Excellence Award, and Ms. Rikynti Nongkynrih was honoured as Best Employee. The celebration concluded with a musical tribute to the legendary Zubeen Garg by the AINE family.
