CM Vigilance Cell Raids ACS Officer Nupur Bora’s Residence, ₹1.7 Crore Cash Seized
Guwahati, Sept 15: In a major crackdown on corruption, the Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell on Monday raided the residence of Assam Civil Service (ACS) officer Nupur Bora, serving as the District Magistrate of Goroimari in Kamrup district.
The operation, conducted at Bora’s residence in Guwahati’s Gotanagar area, led to the recovery of approximately ₹1.7 crore in cash along with an undisclosed amount of gold and jewellery.
Bora, a 2019-batch ACS officer, was subsequently arrested following the raid.
