DELHI BUILDING COLLAPSE: DEATH TOLL RISES TO 6

A tragic building collapse in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area has claimed at least six lives, after a multi-storey private hostel reportedly collapsed within seconds. Several people were trapped inside the structure, while rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to hospitals.

Authorities have ordered an investigation into the incident, while the police have registered a case against the building owner. The collapse has once again raised serious questions over construction safety, unauthorised structures and enforcement of building regulations in the national capital.
