Delhi Police Arrest 2 for Fake ID Scam

Interstate Racket Busted

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police Special Cell conducted a raid and busted an interstate racket allegedly involved in selling fake government identity documents through a website.

Two accused, identified as Bideshi Saw and Santosh Kumar, were arrested from Daman & Diu and Patna, respectively.

Fake Government Documents Generated

According to the police, the accused were involved in generating fake Aadhaar cards, Voter ID cards, PAN-related documents, residence certificates, caste certificates, birth and death certificates, and several other government documents in exchange for online payments.

Police said that after receiving the payments, the accused would upload customer details and generate fake Aadhaar cards, Voter ID cards, and other forged documents through the website.

Digital Payment Trail Led to Arrest

During the investigation, police found that online transactions made by customers were routed directly to Bideshi Saw. His mobile number and UPI account were also linked to the website.

Based on this digital evidence, Delhi Police arrested Bideshi Saw from Daman & Diu.

Second Accused Arrested from Bihar

The investigation further led police to Santosh Kumar, who was tracked down and arrested from Patna, Bihar.

Police said the accused operated the website by first recharging a digital wallet before processing customer orders and generating fake documents.

Electronic Evidence Recovered

During the operation, investigators recovered several electronic devices and digital records, including laptops, mobile phones, digital payment records, the website’s source code, customer databases, hosting details, and documents related to bkprint.in and bkprint.xyz.

Investigation Continues

Police said the investigation is ongoing to identify other members of the interstate network, trace the proceeds of the crime, examine the complete customer database, and identify individuals who may have procured or misused the fake government documents.
