GUWAHATI: The second phase of BTC election witnessed a violent clash among the local people and election officials in Gossaigaon subdivision under Kokrajhar district of Assam.
The untoward incident took place at Padmabil area of Gossaigaon.
According to soucres miscreants destroyed the vehicle carrying ballot box. Officials including presiding officer was injured in the violent clash.
Police had to fire in the air to bring situation under control.
