GUWAHATI: She was born and raised in the picturesque town of Champhai, commonly known as the ‘Rice Bowl of Mizoram’. She won the 2nd Runner up title in Miss Mizoram 2020 and she has been selected by Miss Mizoram Organisation to represent Mizoram at the pageant because of her beauty, grace, intellect and poise. She is currently a trainee teacher and is pursuing her degree in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) under Mizoram University. She has a Master’s degree in English Literature and has won laurels for proficiency in the subject. She passed her HSLC in Distinction, finishing it from Gandhi Memorial Higher Secondary School, Champhai. She was diagnosed with a heart disease while she was only 5 years old which led to her developing a learning disability- dyslexia. Being a fighter, the thought of giving up was never an option for. She turned her disability into an opportunity to reach her goals. With the help of her parents, her teacher and by God’s grace, she finally overcame the problem after several years of a tough battle. She was greatly inspired by her teacher who helped her through her toughest time. This is why she wants to become a teacher herself, so that she could be an inspiration and hope to those who face the same problem as she once did.
